Who makes that plug-thing for Glock pistols?

I seem to recall that there is a very good plug that you can insert in the void space found behind the magazine at the bottom of the grip of Glock pistols. Keeps lint, dirt, and other garbage out of there. However, I have no memory of who the manufacturer was. Anyone here know?

Thanks for any assistance with this...

There are a few: ProMag, Scherer, Jenta, etc....they are okay, but not something I would recommend...check MidwayUSA.

Here's the Brownells catalogue:

So what's the downside to using a 'butt-plug' on your Glock?

Mine would not stay in (Scherer) my G27.

Also, if you want to use the mag sleeve extensions, they will not work with the plug in place...like these:

Hive, if you're gonna buy a plug get one that has the armorer's tools as well.

Tac-Rac snap-in Armorer's Tool provides users with a pin punch and ejector remover, as well as protecting the inside of the Glock pistol from dirt and debris, allowing the user to completely detail-strip his Glock in the field. The Armorer's Tool is quickly and easily inserted and removed simply by depressing the convenient spring plunger, which fits into the existing hole in the Glock frame. Precision-machined from black Delrin with steel pins, the TAC RAC tool aesthetically blends into the Glock frame and weighs less than ounce. Fits following Glock models: 17,17L,19,20,21,22,23,24,31,32,34,35,37

Perhaps a better question would have been: should I buy and use one of these plugs, or just leave the pistol as-is?

I take it that you don't much care for them, then, right? If so, how come?

Not sure what it is they actually do...who cares if you have a little dust or lint in the channel. It won't enter the action or otherwise interfere with operation of the pistol that I can see...One thing it MIGHT do is facilitate mag changes a little. My opinion: a solution in search of a problem.

Faster, more accurate, magazine changes... If you carry every day it is more than just a little lint that gets down in there... I have always used them!
